Re-structured in 2021, Region V Soccer is an intercollegiate club soccer association representing four leagues in Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, & Wyoming. Region V Soccer is affiliated with NIRSA and in accordance with the by-laws of the NIRSA Championship Series. Membership with Region V Soccer is restricted to two or four-year degree-granting colleges and universities.

Region V Soccer represents four soccer leagues, with club teams competing to earn a bid to the Regional Tournament in October. In addition to each team’s league matches, clubs have the opportunity to play non-league games and tournaments to count towards power rankings as a way to boost their resume for Regional and National Tournament qualification. Tournament structure varies each year, depending on host site and date availability.
The Region V Tournament awards three (3) automatic bids from the Men’s and Women’s division for the Championship Division of the National Tournament, hosted by the NIRSA Championship Series. Non-automatic qualifier teams have the opportunity to enroll for the Championship Division to the National Tournament as an At-Large, subject to NIRSA Directors of Competition.
All Region V Club Soccer teams have the opportunity to enroll in the Open Division of the NIRSA National Tournament. Selection is via lottery.
The Region V Soccer website tracks all schedules and results, league standings, team & player stats, and power rankings on a weekly basis throughout each season.
